Summary : On January 15th 2009, Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger has to make an emergency landing at the Hudson River after US airways flight 1549 loses both engine to an attack by geese. All 155 passengers on board survived and Sully becomes a national hero.
Notes : Sully uses a bare bones approach to tell the story of the incident of the emergency landing of flight 1549 in the Hudson River.
It ramps up great tension with the events that happened – both before and after crashing into the river.
Sully has a notable director ( Clint Eastwood) and a strong drama storyline which will appeal to an older audience and even incite emotional appeal to people working in the aviation industry.
Film comes out on 9th September.
