THE OOOF (ONOME OMOBOLAJI OBADA FOUNDATION) TO PROVIDE MEDICAL AND SURGICAL AID TO MORE THAN 5,000 PEOPLE IN DELTA STATE
In the face of harsh economic conditions and the burden of out of the pocket payment for health,
The OOOF Foundation hopes to reach those in need of healthcare through its first and free medical outreach in Delta, State Nigeria.
The OOOF Foundation, a non-profit social intervention organization, created in honour and loving memory of Mrs Onome Omobolaji Obada is set to hold a one-Week Free Medical and Surgical Outreach in Agbarho, Delta State Central from the 1st of December to the 7th of December 2019.
The OOOF Foundation is built on the tenet of spreading love to those in need, this year, the OOOF Foundation would cater to over 5,000 underprivileged people in Delta State Nigeria.
The scope of services to be provided include screening for non-communicable disease especially hypertension and diabetes, treatment of common ailments, HIV counselling and testing, among other healthcare services. Our first Free medical outreach would host over 200 healthcare professionals and volunteers in Delta, State Nigeria.
According to the Founder, Votu Obada “When it comes to giving back to the community, any action big or small can make a real difference, a lot of Nigerians die daily from preventable illnesses, a lot of children are suffering with no family or hope for help, at the OOOF Foundation, our goal is to give the hopeless hope for a better future. Our Free medical outreach is just a start, we hope to give more to more people in the future’’.
The OOOF Foundation is working in partnership with Pro Health International, a reputable health NGO with many years of experience in offering medical and surgical aid to indigent communities across Africa to actualize this major project that will improve thousands of lives and provide otherwise unaffordable healthcare services to many.
